Berlin tech addict Clio has made appearances with Drumcode, Truesoul and Snatch! in the past, his productions are well crafted and smartly dressed. The latest imprint he’s gracing is New Violence Records, for a remix of Pablo Inzunza’s Drumatic.
The Chilean producer comes with a 5-track release titled Blinded EP. It boasts two originals, two remixes from Sweden’s Per Hammar, and of course the Clio remix.
Clio’s edit shows off lovely tech grooves, lo-fi audio crunches and a mixture of usual bell sounds and robot-like glitches, it’s a heavy club track with just enough quirkiness.
The Blinded EP has seen support from Adam Beyer, Jesse Rose and Danny Tenaglia and is available on New Violence Records now.
