Nau Squaglia drops ‘Midnight Blues’ album on Earthly Delights

Earthly Delights is a record label that has a reputation for releasing dazzling deep and organic house, and their latest release is yet another fine example of this.

The new offering is a 10-track album from Spanish producer Nau Squaglia, who has previously released on the imprint with two solo EPs, but his album shows a class that takes things to a whole other level.

After dropping his debut release in 2020 on Be Adult Music, Nau Squaglia’s album shows that although he is new on the scene, he has been developing his sound for much longer.

His clean and crisp production style has an aesthetic that allows his atmospheric textures and intricate synth lines to breathe and move between the percussion like a leaf floating through the morning breeze.

The groovy basslines, and shuffling percussive rhythms that run throughout all of the tracks are present from the very first cut, ‘Stick to My Guns’. The next few tracks continue on the same path, with each being gradually more uplifting than the last.

No doubt DJs will want to dissect the album and pick out tracks for their sets, as it’s a very dance floor friendly release, while still being perfect for home listening as a complete body of work.
