Moth Presents: Steve Lawler w/ Dale Hooks & Deep City Groove
After the success of last years VIVa Warriors show MOTH are extremely excited to welcome back Steve Lawler, this time to the more intimate setting of The Limelight in Belfast.
A true master of his craft, Steve Lawler has been drawing in the crowds across the globe for years. Now his VIVa Warriors party rightfully holds the title as one of the most notorious nights in Ibiza, taking over Sundays at Sankeys and week in week out playing host to the heavy weights of the electronic music world.
Constantly pushing the boundaries of music, with releases on the biggest and best labels, and no stranger to gracing the most renowned venues on the planet, he will be bringing his unique blend of melodic bass and euphoric beats to The Limelight 1. His recent release ‘House Record’ soared up the Beatport charts and is now sitting cosy at #1 on the Resident Advisor DJ charts; he’s recently released a stellar EP ‘Inna State/Recuperate’ on Dennis Ferrer’s new Objektivity sub-label ‘OBJ Analogue’ and his forthcoming Leftroom release is already turning heads before release. Meanwhile, his label VIVa MUSiC continues to release current yet timeless innovative music.
Belfast can expect nothing short of a mesmerizing performance from one of the worlds most talented artists and an electronic music legend. Joining Steve Lawler at The Limelight will be two local artists who have certainly been making a name for themselves.
MOTH resident and frontman Dale Hooks has had quite a year hosting all the MOTH parties to date and playing alongside some of House Music true legends. Also super busy on the production front his recent ‘Driven Snow EP’ released on Jonathan Ulysses Ulybug Records has been getting serious support from the likes of Sasha, Maceo Plex & Richie Hawtin.
After a successful season in Ibiza, Deep City Groove will be warming up the dance floor for all those attending. With recent releases on Toolroom and Alive recordings this upcoming artist has gained support from the likes of Maceo Plex, James Zabiela and DJ Sneak.
