Berlin DJ Monika Kruse has become a prominent figure for positive change, both in and out of dance music. Her No Historical Backspins charity has raised over €100,000 to date, for causes like the support for victims of homophobic and anti-immigrant violence.
When she’s not saving the world one party at a time, she’s releasing music from people like Anna, Mark Reeve and Stefano Noferini via her label, Terminal M.
The latest production for both Kruse and Terminal M see’s her work with long time friends and fellow pioneers Pig&Dan, bringing a three track EP titled Oblivion, and we have a premiere for the closing track ‘Sensation’.
“When I first met Pig and Dan a long time ago, we just clicked from the first moment. It felt like I’d found my brothers! It’s been a really happy experience working with them over the last two years.”
Sensation showcases rhythmic drum and percussion grooves, a massive sub bass and piercing kick drums, topping things off with an uplifting mash of hats and vocal hooks, all soaked in filters, delays and reverbs, turn it up!
