MIX344: DESNA

Previous releases for Set About, Tronic, Octopus Black, and other highly regarded techno imprints have given American DJ & producer DESNA a firmly planted springboard to push onwards in developing herself as an artist.

2022 saw the New Yorker kickstart a new record label of her own, Frequency Made Music, which is now on its sixth release thanks to a brand new 3-track offering from herself. Titled ‘Schumann Resonance 7.83 Hz’, the EP combines two new originals from DESNA, alongside a remix from Amanda Mussi.

She joins us this week for the 344th mix on our series, where she hands off a one hour blend of deep, hypnotic techno. Hammering kick drums, dark rolling basslines, and filtered synth melodies all come together for a club-primed set which features tracks from KAS:ST, Anfisa Letyago, David Lohlein, Bicep, and others.
