Jayda G releases new album ‘Guy’
Jayda G has risen to the top of the music game faster than almost anyone this side of 2020. Since releasing her debut album ‘Significant Changes’ back in 2019, she’s been nominated for a Grammy, played festivals like Coachella and Glastonbury, curated a DJ Kicks compilation, and appeared on the covers of DJ Mag and Rolling Stone.
Fast forward to 2023 and the London-based Canadian artist is back again with her sophomore long player, ‘Guy’. Which at 13-tracks in total brings together house, electronica, disco, and more, and includes her previously released titles ‘Blue Lights’ and ‘Circle Back Around’.
The record was co-produced with Jack Peñate, who has worked with the likes of Adele, and arrives via British imprint Ninja Tune; the same label behind her ‘Significant Changes’ LP.
