Premiere: J Paul Getto & Born I Music – 10th Day (4004 Dub)
Boston based minister of funk J Paul Getto (Tony Saputo) has teamed up with DC vocalist Born I Music for their collaborative effort 10th Day. A sonic fusion of contemporary production techniques and hip hop influence.
The release is coming out on Getto’s own Fogbank Recordings imprint, a label that strives to create and nurture the best sounds in house and disco. It’s a celebratory concept, being the labels 200th outing.
10th Day (4004 Dub) is a melodic beauty. Futuristic jazz is layered around the classic house sound, with Born I Music’s input implementing a dash of soul. It’s a track that will warm up the dampest of souls. 10th Day offers the chance to reflect and realise that things really aren’t that bad.
10th Day is set for release from December 19th via Fogbank Recordings.
