Mat.Joe

Mat: Two stupid guys who love food, family guy and music.

Joe: Two bros trying to live their dream (hollywood strings, please).

You just released your ‘Light Up EP’ via OFF Recordings, can you talk about the inspiration behind the EP?

Mat.Joe

Mat: Hmmm… I guess it’s a colorful EP, which shows all our effects of Hip Hop & House music.

Joe: Yeah it pretty much reflects the urban influences we have and this time we experimented a little more with the sound that we’re already known for.

You’ve put quite a few tracks out on OFF, how did you come to have a strong relationship with them?

Mat.Joe

Mat: It was the first label what pushed our sound from the beginning. We started in late 2011 and OFF showed us LUV.

Joe: It’s cool to be part of a label that gives you the chance to release the stuff you really feel.

Mat: I’m sleeping with a cuddly toy.

Mat: Every track got it’s story.

Joe: Of course, every production feels different and has it’s meaning.

Mat: Making music and eating burgers!
