Someone who is trying to make sense of the world around them.

Your latest track ‘Move You’ is out now for free, can you talk about the inspiration behind the track and how it took shape?

Right now I’m trying to make some music that is something like what Trent Reznor from the Pretty Hate Machine era would be making right now if doing Techno today. That’s kinda the inspiration for a few things I’ve put out over the past year. Same with the KLF remix I did.

After moving to New York I was very inspired by fashion. My biggest influences lately came from looking at clothing such as Rick Owens and Gareth Pugh and other designers that have clothing at this store called Atelier in NYC. I wanted to make music that I felt fit that visual aesthetic.

And your Duran Duran remix?

SThe Duran Duran remix was a great experience. John Taylor from Duran Duran came over to my place a couple times and we had some great conversations. I was lucky enough to be asked to do a remix.

What would you say is your biggest influence in life?

The quest for knowledge.

Tell us something we shouldn’t know about you?

Gosteffects

Well if you shouldn’t know then I can’t tell you. Maybe some things are better left to mystery.

2014 saw you amass tens of thousands of plays across the internet, what would make 2015 a great year?

More original music. I’m producing for a few acts right now and doing a few collabs with other artists. I want to work with a lot of other people right now. I enjoy social experiments.

Someone you feel will make a huge impact this year?

I have some new management on board this year. I’m assembling a good team of people. Excited to get things moving.

Can you reveal any plans for the future?

Gosteffects

Just trying to create as much music as possible right now. I want to create as much as I can. There’s no time to spare.
