So who is Curtis Gabriel?

Curtis Gabriel

Curtis Gabriel is the name I give to the creative muse that decides to show up (or not) during the writing process. It helps me to see music from a third perspective almost. Yeah I know, weird right!

You really came along in 2014, getting hundreds of thousands of plays across Soundcloud, what would make 2015 a great year?

Curtis Gabriel

My passion is making music and putting it out there for anybody who might enjoy it, If I can continue to do that then I’m blessed. That and some live shows.

Sam Divine supported your track ‘Listen’, pretty awesome?

Curtis Gabriel

Definitely, Sam has been so supportive in general, she initially contacted me back in October about some tracks and we just clicked, we have been talking ever since. I have been a fan of hers for some time, she is an incredible DJ and she has an amazing taste in music, so for her to support what I do is amazing.

Soundspace

And you have a release coming on her new imprint ‘D-Vine Sounds’, can you talk more about that?

Curtis Gabriel

Absolutely, well I initially passed Sam a couple of tracks back in October which she has been supporting in her sets, she told me about her plans to launch D-Vine sounds just before christmas and asked if she could have the tracks for the label, she announced the launch with my track ‘Always Right There’ as a free giveaway just in time for Christmas and I am very happy to say the official debut release will be my track ‘If You Can’ which should be dropping March 23rd.

Tell us something we shouldn’t know about you?

Curtis Gabriel

I eat way too many biscuits.

Soundspace

Someone you feel will make a big impact in 2015?

Curtis Gabriel

I think D-Vine sounds will make a big impact!

Soundspace

Can you reveal any plans you have for 2015?

Curtis Gabriel

Yes, I have been busy working on lots of original material for 2015, I have also been working with Sam Divine in the studio on a new collaboration, we also just finished up a new remix for one of my favourite producers at the minute which I am very excited about, we will be announcing more on that very soon!
