It’s already a rare enough occasion for someone working on the artistic end of the music industry to break the mold and make their passion serve as their source of income, but rarer still for an artist to gain the respect and admiration of their fellow creatives.
One such talent to fill the role of an industry leader, a ‘DJ’s DJ’ as some might put it, is Hamburg-based Oliver Huntemann. While often making appearances on the compilation albums put out by the likes of Toolroom, Watergate, Rukus and Stil Vor Talent, it’s Huntemann’s own label that has really seen him flourish.
Senso Sounds have released the likes of SHADED, Victor Ruiz, Dubfire, Marc Houle, Joseph Capriati, and more. Including a busload of music from Oliver himself. And success such as this doesn’t come without a strong skill in the A&R department.
