Deep, funky, soulful, groovy are just some of the words one could use to describe Floating Points latest, the British super producer has once again turned heads and now sits at #9 on the Beatport chart. Matched up with Nectarines for a clean cut, finely polished deep tech EP, available both digitally and on wax. Translating in English to ‘Sound Nights’, the soulful rhythms move along a speaker cone effortlessly, a mean faced resonance is strongly relevant in the arrangement, but not to a level that makes you swing your arms in the hope of eventually finding ear plugs. The perfect production for the after party, or the one maned bedroom party, it has enough groove for a crowd, but enough soul for headphones. Enjoy.
