Washington’s Fasika has built a solid rep’ as a go to provider of proper, no thrills house music. The American does a fair job of taking things back to the simple style of drums, bass and a masterly tuned arrangement.
There is no percussive melody, majorly impactful drop or uplifting melodies on this one, but that’s because it doesn’t need it. Fasika brings the bare minimum, but delivers it in such a way that it’s enough.
The five track player comes in the form of Double Clutch, Once Again, Echoes and Barracuda; as well as a sexy remix from Georgi Barrel. While this is not Fasika’s first appearance on the multi-cultural Sinnmsuik label, it is no doubt his best work to date.
