DJOKO – Let Me EP

Amsterdam’s Chief Recordings returns with another massive EP. The four track ‘Let Me EP’ from DJOKO includes three impressive remixes from Domino Effect regular Rich Pinder, Chief Recordings returning star Prune Flat and Jacob B. Sampling the infamous ‘You Should Let Me Love You’ top line from the Mario classic, it takes a deep route from the offset, the stabby bassline’s and no thrills house drums pair perfect to create a heavy UK influence across the EP. Jacob B’s mix goes more towards the heavy hitting side, featuring a darker bass synth and heavier drums, as well as the addition of techno-esque hat patterns that are screaming for a pitch black sweaty rave. The Original Mix sees a much heavier garage take on things, with the second half of the arrangement all out synth pads and skippy percussion, think Disclosure meets Route 94.
