Deadmau5 drops the ball on Zimmer for stealing ideas

deadmau5, Zimmer, News, Soundspace

Canadian DJ Joel Zimmerman – better known as Deadmau5 – needs no introduction, given his ‘no f*cks given’ attitude when it comes to DJ on DJ arguments or the random nonsense the internet can often produce and whether he’s right or wrong is a topic for a different day, but you can’t help but respect him for standing by his opinions.

Once again he’s appearing in feeds for a string of contreversial tweets; though at no fault of his own. This time he’s calling out a fellow ‘producer’ for reportedly stealing an idea from Deadmau5′ and Kaskade’s 2008 track I Remember.

After announcing the track reached 100,000 plays on SoundCloud the track has since been removed from Zimmer’s account – oh yeah, he also uses one half of Joel ‘Zimmer’man as his alter-ego – but has been uploaded elsewhere, listen below.
