Chevalier is a new collaborative project between Brazilian talents Antonio Eudi and Paulo Boghosian, coming to Defected’ sister imprint DFTD for Double Dealin’ EP the pair bring four deep tech cuts.

Set for a November 9th release, the two look to invade future tracklists with Double Dealin’, Forward, Hurt Me More and We Survived It Together.

Opening title track Double Dealin’ starts things off with a bang, it’s a vocal driven tech track that brings rolling basslines in a dub-esque aesthetic. With it’s latter half opening up the filters for a wide and roary affair of clap rolls and resonant synth bass it will no doubt catch attention.

Track two Forward goes deeper than it’s former friend, with a stiff and solid house bass and a long break down of melodic chords and high strings it ticks all the boxes of being a straight up house groover.

Hurt Me More continues on from Forward, with high strings and house grooves, – along with dose of sampling on the vocal – it keeps things moving in the right direction. This one takes our pick from the four, with the expert finish on the hats and percussion alone giving us chills.

Closing things out is We Survived It Together, with a somewhat techno-influenced house agenda it delivers a heavy use of loops and some much loved cowbell!
