The US born Berlin dweller Camea returns to her third home that is B.Pitch Control. This time with a sonic palette of dark techno that’s spread across three tracks; The Hallway EP.

Coming as release number 314 for the German imprint, The Hallway EP brings Wormhole, The Hallway and Orchestra Of Dreams to the table. With the latter taking our pick from the three.

Opening track Wormhole comes in fired up, bringing a swell of electric synths and glitchy percussion along for the ride. The half way point see’s a rolling bassline rise up and from there on it’s a dancing aroma of dark electro and progressive techno rhythms.

The Hallway is slightly contrasting with it’s esoteric vocal and wide open synth pads it creates a sense of epic adventure around the tightly mixed drums.

Closing piece Orchestra Of Dreams takes our choice as previously mentioned, and after a quick listen it’s easy to see why. The alien-like synth sounds and subtle percussive riffs push a nice image of extraterrestrial being; the almost invisible influences of idm almost have us seeing this one as what one might hear given five minutes on The Prodigy’s studio computer.

Get ‘Camea – The Hallway EP’ from July 27th on B.Pitch Control.
