Bugzy Malone gets deep on Fire in the Booth pt. 2

Manchester MC Bugzy Malone, real name Aaron Davis, has delivered a Fire in the Booth drenched in personal trauma.

Malone was facing jail time after being arrested on suspician of theft and robbery. He’s accused of stealing a watch from a high end store in Manchester and could of potentially seen jail time of up to 9 years.

Malone spits about not wanting to mess around with his freedom due to the amount of success he has had fall upon him. He goes on further to acknowledge the accusations of theft, suggesting that it may be a result of jealousy.

The 0161 spearhead gets even more personal as he spits about a history of physical abuse within his family. He raps briefly about his previous time in prison before getting deep into this emotional scars, speaking of his mothers problem with alcohol and the abuse she suffered from his stepdad and stepsister.

“I’m talking about me, get it? Being a role model is taking its toll, but I got this, I was only 12 years old when I got hit, really I hope my stepdad will watch this, cause I was only a kid and I loved him more than anybody else, but he fucked it, how can you beat up somebodies mum, I just want him, I don’t want justice.”
