Two of Glasgow’s most promising musical talents once again come together as Big Miz remixes Georgia Cécile’s newly reworked production ‘Blue Is Just A Colour’.
Following their collaboration on ‘A Dream’ back in 2021, the Scottish club talent takes the blues-flavoured jazz original and turns it into a fully fledged dancefloor weapon.
With several shows at this years SXSW and previous support from BBC Radio 2, Georgia has been swiftly climbing the ranks of the jazz world, while the accomplishments of Big Miz have made him one of the hottest prospects in dance music.
Alongside releasing music from Bodega and Mella Dee on his own MIZ Records, he has also released his own tracks with Aus Music, &Friends, Kitsune, and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams.
Speaking on the remix, Georgia added: “I’m so excited to be working with Big Miz – a fellow Glasgow-born artist who has been doing amazing things here. We’ve spoke a lot about working together and I was excited for him to take this song and put his own stamp on it. As a jazz artist this felt like a good opportunity to merge the two worlds and work closely with someone I really connect with.”
Georgia Cécile – Blue Is Just A Colour (Big Miz Remix) is out now on Warner Music.
