ARKADYAN return to Sol Selectas for new afro house release ‘Tulila’

ARKADYAN drop new afro house release on Sol Selectas

ARKADYAN make their return to Sabo’s Sol Selectas imprint with their brand new Afro house track ‘Tulila’.

Orientating around the vocals and musicianship of Moroccan artist Radouan Naim, the original title track is packaged alongside remixes from emerging French producers Safar (FR) and Manoo.

This is the second time ARKADYAN have featured on Sol Selectas after they collaborated on a track with Derun which was released in 2021, but this is the first time they have released on the label in a solo capacity.

Not only did Radouan Naim sing lyrics in the Berber language that’s commonly spoken in Morocco, he also played the guembri for the track, which is a traditional string instrument that has some similarities to a guitar.

Safar (FR) is another artist who’s making a return to Sol Selectas, his remix focuses on the groove and uses a conga loop to add continuity in how the structure of the remix unfolds. Manoo closes out the release in soulful fashion, and adds his own bass synth and some extra percussion.

ARKADYAN – Tulila is out now on Sol Selectas.
