Ana Rs makes impressive Symbolism debut with ‘Take Me There’ EP
Ana Rs has hit the ground running with her first release on Ben Sims’ Symbolism. Her five-track ‘Take Me There’ EP showcases the Montenegrin producer’s impressive knack for crafting punchy, muscular techno with precision and style.
‘Abstract Mind’ kicks things off with its gritty turbulence and pulsating stabs, while ‘The Shadow Between Us’ offer a dub-heavy approach. Other inclusions ‘From The Brink’, ‘Take Me There’, and ‘Wipe Out’. provide driving drum rhythms and a flurry of resonant-tinged basslines.
Ana Rs’ production skills are on full display throughout this one. With five carefully crafted studio tracks and a unique attention to sound design, ‘Take Me There’ is a promising label debut for her.
