Alan Fitzpatrick is undoubtably one of the world’s most iconic and influential techno artists, having featured on labels ranging from Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, to Radio Slave’s Rekids, and he also heads up his own imprint in We Are The Brave.
We Are The Brave is a platform that has featured music from both fresh talents like Marcel Reix alongside established names like Joel Mull, and their latest release sees Alan himself return with a new track titled ‘Envisions’.
‘Envisions’ sums up why Alan Fitzpatrick is such a respected producer, as it blends timeless techno sounds with a contemporary vocal touch, showcasing how techno can play with your emotions by switching between both dark and uplifting.
The track opens with a heavy kick drum and vigorous hi-hats as it progresses towards the first breakdown and introduces a monstrous bassline. Its throbbing synths and intense pads create suspense, just before the arpeggiating synth knocks things up a gear.
