Brighton born house producer Endor has dominated clubs and festivals in recent years by pushing his sample-heavy style of UK house to the masses.

His first taste of mainstream success came at the end of 2019, when his Pump It Up original dropped on Defected Records, the track peaked at No.8 on the UK charts and currently has over 56 million streams on Spotify.

His other notable works include outings with Simma Black, Armada and Warner, and he has remixed names like Mabel, Leona Lewis and S-Man with positive reception.

01. Where are you right now and what are you doing?

​In my studio with a big mug of tea, wading through emails hoping there’s enough time in my day to make some tunes!

‘92 baby.

03. Do you have a nickname?

Teddy.

04. What’s the coolest thing in your house?

The fridge, coming in at approximately 4​°C.

05. How would you describe yourself?

Pretty sound I hope.

06. Worst experience as a DJ?

​Pre gig food poisoning.

07. Best experience as a DJ?

Playing Printworks, E1 and Lab 11 Birmingham all in one day.

08. Favourite record label?

Defected Records of course!

09. What’s your biggest weakness?

​Interviews.

10. First record you ever paid for?

​Spice Girls, Spiceworld.

11. What’s your morning routine?

Wake up as late as I can get away with,​ ​shower, breakfast, cuppa, Runescape, check emails.

12. Your dream collaboration?

A Tribe Called Quest.

​I’ve got a mean kickflip.

14. Who’s your biggest inspiration?

Joey Jordison.

Does vaping count?

A pair of KRKs.

An Airfix model Lancaster Bomber, to my Grandad.

Sleeping more and painting.

I worked in a greengrocer as a Saturday boy.

33. Craziest story of being on the road?

​Letting a certain Irish promoter bring his ‘mates’ back to the hotel for afters, before realising he knew everyone in the club. 10 in the bed, 5 in the bath, the rest on the floor, and more plastic bags flying round than a Greenpeace clean-up operation.

34. Weirdest request as a DJ?

Being asked not to play one of my own songs so that a resident DJ could open with it.

35. If you had one superpower what would it be?

Teleportation.

36. Late sleeper or early riser?

Late sleeper.

37. Strangest video you’ve watched on YouTube?

Rappin’ For Jesus.

38. The top thing on your bucket list?

​Play an Ibiza superclub.

39. Most memorable moment of your life so far?

Canoeing down a river in Vermont.

40. Will you ever be done with music?

I don’t think I’ll be done with music. There’s too much unchartered territory I can’t wait to explore.
