Berlin staple Dirt Crew Recordings have provided us with some of the best house and disco to touch our speakers. Now approaching their 90th catalogue release the German imprint bring in label friends 25 Places for release #88.

Titled Love More EP, the five track player brings a mix of deep house grooves and soulful harmonies. Love More, Strange Days, These Moments, Estatic States and Sometimes make up the titles, with Love More taking our pick as the front runner.

Love More is the opening track from the Rotterdam duo, delivering a progressive take on vibey, soulful house. A heavy dose of vocal chops and loose hat grooves push a dancefloor aesthetic, preparing the listener for the rest of the EP.

Strange Days comes in much darker, reverb drenched percussion fx, pitched vocal cuts and crisp drums come together for a warehouse-esque experience. Before progressing into a chord heavy house jam that brightens things up in familiar Dirt Crew fashion.

Track three marks the mid way point in Love More, These Moments with a close sound to Love More brings a vocal riddled house beat that shows 25 Places’ talent isn’t limited to just one or two lucky studio session.

Ecstatic States is one of the more down tempo additions to the player, consolidating warm synth pads, hypnotic drum rhythms and light, floating vocal cuts that create a vast space inside your speaker. Closing track Sometimes comes in much heavier, weighted drum hits and bright, opening filtered chords bring all that’s needed for a peak time banger.
