Sasha & John Digweed share new edit of Pete Lazonby’s ‘Wave Speech’
Sasha and John Digweed share a new edit of Pete Lazonby’s ‘Wave Speech’, the second single from their forthcoming Northern Exposure Redux project, due September 25th on Late Night Tales/Night Time Stories.
The ‘NE Edit’ revisits Lazonby’s original, which featured on the 1996 Northern Exposure compilation, with Sasha describing the new version as moving the mix towards a bigger, more dancefloor-focused sound.
Northern Exposure Redux expands the original release into a three-disc collection, bringing the classic double-disc set to streaming platforms for the first time, alongside a bonus disc of new ambient and dub reworks from Sasha and Digweed. The release also includes new artwork and extensive sleeve notes across its CD and vinyl editions.
The Redux edition features music from The Orb, Darren Emerson, The Future Sound Of London, William Orbit, Young American Primitive, Rabbit In The Moon, Scott Hardkiss, and others.
Northern Exposure Redux is out September 25th on Late Night Tales/Night Time Stories.
