Premiere: Steve Parry – Fenner (Pornbugs Remix)

Selador mark a milestone 200th release this year, with label co-founders Dave Seaman and Steve Parry each contributing six previously released originals, handed over to a selection of artists and friends for remix duties.

Spread across three separately released EPs, the project pulls together twelve tracks and remix contributions from names such as ELIF, Hernan Cattaneo, Dilby, and Derun.

Among the highlights sits Pornbugs’ rework of Steve Parry’s ‘Fenner’. The German duo, best known for their Bondage Music imprint and past outings on Sublease Music, inject their trademark approach into Parry’s original — reshaping it into a shimmering piece of club music led by lean house grooves and infectious vocal touches.

The 200th release underlines Selador’s standing as one of the UK’s most consistent underground music imprints, having previously welcomed artists like Quivver, Just Her, Marc DePulse, and Robert Babicz.

Steve Parry adds: “It’s quite a strange (but great) feeling reaching our 200th release. Time flies when you’re having fun they say, and yes, we’ve been having fun. Selador has always been about Dave and Me, our musical output, and the music that we love. So it seemed fitting to get sparkly new versions of some of our tracks.”
