Premiere: Slam – Program (Linear Phase Remix)

Scottish techno duo Slam have announced ‘SOMA35’, a new anniversary series celebrating 35 years of their Soma Records imprint. The project will unfold across six 12-inch and digital releases, with the opening chapter, ‘35.1’, arriving digitally on June 26th before a vinyl release on July 24th.

The first instalment brings together remixes from Mark Broom, FJAAK, VRIL, and Linear Phase, while later releases in the series will feature contributions from Surgeon, Phil Berg, Oscar Mulero, and Lewis Fautzi.

Across its 35-year history, Soma has released music from seminal producers such as Daft Punk, Funk D’Void, and Silicone Soul, alongside more contemporary acts like Gary Beck, ANNĒ, and Hans Bouffmyhre.

Within ‘35.1’, Linear Phase returns to Soma following the inclusion of his track ‘Liquid’ on ‘Soma NEU Vol.5’ in 2025. His remix of ‘Program’ centres on deep, groove-heavy techno, combining filtered synth stabs, roaring low-end energy, and weighty kick drums into a driving reinterpretation of the original.

SOMA35.1 is out June 26th on Soma Records.
