Premiere: Eitan Reiter – Eat You (Patrice Bäumel Remix)

Eitan Reiter marks the sixth release on his Impulse label with a new two-track record featuring remixes from Patrice Bäumel and Extrawelt. The EP arrives ahead of Reiter’s forthcoming retrospective album ’20’, which will highlight two decades of his work.

Patrice Bäumel delivers a twelve-minute rework of ‘Eat You’, focusing on steady rhythmic progression and subtle atmospheric shifts. The remix maintains the emotional tone of the original while introducing a controlled, hypnotic pace.

On the second cut, Extrawelt reinterpret ‘Ups & Downs’ with a more urgent approach, leaning into tense modulation and heavier low-end movement.

The release continues Reiter’s collaborative theme for the Impulse imprint, inviting established artists to revisit and reframe key moments from his catalogue.
